YEL Electronics Limited was established in 1992. We specialize in the selling of electronic components. Hong Kong is the Asia/Pacific headquarter of the Marketing and Distribution Company. We have branch offices in Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, China (Dongguan, Shenzhen, Suzhou and Shanghai). In line with our expansion in this region, we are seeking high calibre professionals to fill the below positions in our Hong Kong Headquarter.


SR. SCM & OPERATIONS MANAGER

Fully responsible for the SCM(Supply Chain Management) and logistics management of our distribution operations -Spearhead our “Hub/VMI”(Vendor Managed Inventory) program offered to our key customers
Manage and supervise over 30 staff in Customer Service, Material Planning, Purchasing, Shipping and Warehousing

Candidate we are looking for:

  • Must be a “roll up your sleeve” type of doer who do not mind to work indoor
    A problem solver with strong leadership and people skill
  • 10 years of working experiences with at least 7 years in a supervisory or management position
  • Young, energetic and willing to try new thing
  • University graduate with strong financial/admin, operational, or I.T. background a plus
  • Reporting to the Executive Director

FIELD APPLICATION ENGINEER

Work with customer’s R&D Engineers to identify design-in business opportunities;
Support our Sales and Marketing team in promoting new products;
liaise with customers and vendors for new product improvement and development.

Candidate we are looking for:

  • Higher Diploma/Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics Engineering;
  • 2-3 years working experience in Customer/Technical
  • Support or R&D environment;
  • Good knowledge of the electronic components industry as well as electronic component functionality and applications;
  • Customer oriented and able to work independently

QUALITY ENGINEER

Fully responsible to handle all customer quality issues in a timely and professional manner to customer’s entire satisfaction
Provide product technical support to sales team on customer’s R&D activities
Assist Marketing team to conduct marketing survey on selective products/components

Candidate we are looking for:

  • A technical engineer by training with strong customer service mentality
  • Good communications skill and common/business sense in tackling customer’s quality/R&D issues and conducting components marketing surveys
  • Able to work independently and willing to travel to China
  • University graduate with an electronic engineering degree or equivalent
  • Reporting to the Sr. Manager

SENIOR PRODUCT MARKETING ENGINEER - CONNECTOR

Fully responsible to handle and promote electronics components, mainly for connectors, to customers at Hong Kong and Southern China;
Professional manner to fulfil customer’s requirement is necessary;

Candidate we are looking for:

  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering;
    Minimum 5 years solid experience in promoting and managing electronic components;
  • Have solid experience in promoting and managing connectors is an advantage;
  • Strong marketing sense with successful sales track records and able to drive/support sales team;
  • Good communications skill, Hard working and result orientated;
  • Young, enthusiastic and have good business sense;
  • Able to speak Mandarin fluently;
  • Willing to travel within China frequently.

SENIOR PRODUCT MARKETING ENGINEER

  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Electronic Engineering;
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in the field of electronic products;
  • Good technical/product knowledge in electronics;
  • Strong marketing flares with successful sales track records
  • Able to drive/support sales team;
  • Hard working and result orientated;
  • Young, enthusiastic and have good business sense;
  • Able to speak Mandarin fluently;
  • Willing to travel within China frequently.

SALES SUPERVISOR

  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering;
  • Minimum 3-4 years Electronic Components sales experience; passive components preferable;
  • Ability to execute sales strategies successfully and develop new sales account;
  • Alert, tough and hard-working; with strong initiative;
  • Young, enthusiastic and have successful sales track record;
  • Mature and with good business sense;
  • Those with less experience will be considered as a Senior Sales Engineer.

MATERIAL PLANNING SUPERVISOR

  • Diploma or above in Quantitative Analysis for Business or Logistic Management;
    Solid experience in Material Planning and Inventory
  • Control preferably in electronic components;
  • Able to develop an effective Material Planning and Inventory Control program;
  • Work independently and have experience in stock taking;
  • Good analytical mind and data processing capability;
  • Able to manage people with effective job delegation;
  • Result oriented and self-motivated;
  • Familiar with MRP system, MS Word and Excel;
  • Good command in Mandarin and English
  • Applicant with less experience may be considered as Material Planner.

SOURCING OFFICER

  • Diploma in Commerce or above, Minimum 3 years experience in semi-conductor (IC) sales or electronics components purchase;
  • Extensive experience and established relationships with the electronics OEMs, reseller, distributors and integrators will be an advantage;
  • Strong business development skill;
  • Ability to identify opportunities and convert qualified opportunities into sales;
  • Experience in DRAM, CPU, Discrete, Passive components and advantage.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure;
  • Good communication skill in English & Mandarin is a must;
  • Hands on experience in using computer.
